Life without automobiles. Imagine how much better life can be without the many restraints of automobile ownership. How can we reclaim our cities and the streets that once belonged to everyone? This is a blog for those who wish to ask such questions. For visionaries and poets, environmentalists and architects, scientists and cyclists and all those who dare dream for a more just, democratic and equitable future.
It is upon us unless we all take to task our fundamental duty as patriots.

Wandered over here after your response to me at Joe's place. Love your stuff. I made a decision in 1995 that I would not own a car and I have arranged my life so that I have not had one since. I'd rather have a larger apartment at the beach with a nice view for my money. It appears from the rest of your blog that we share many of the same opinions. In any case, I don't want to be one of those folks who argue with other commenters. Yawn. I am glad, however, that I found your blog. Good stuff. Mr. Paul IS, however, running for the Republican nomination. =;)>
That's very cool. Glad to have you as a member of the carfree folks!
